In my capacity as president, I would like to welcome you to the web page of the Mancomunidad de Municipios de la Costa del Sol Occidental.
The Mancomunidad is a supra-municipal organization made up of eleven municipalities of the Costa del Sol: Benahavís, Benalmádena, Casares, Estepona, Fuengirola, Istán, Manilva, Mijas, Marbella, Ojén and Torremolinos.
We have been working together since 1972, with the firm conviction that together we can manage our resources more efficiently and provide quality public services. We are united by the motto “the reason for commonality”.
We mainly manage waste treatment, both organic and selective, in addition to the integral management of water through our public company ACOSOL, the beaconing of the beaches or the tourist promotion of the region, among others.
On this website you will find all the information you need about the Mancomunidad, as well as access to our Electronic Headquarters to carry out any procedure or query. We have the firm intention of making this Administration as useful, close and transparent as possible for the citizen.

In my capacity as spokesperson of the Government Team of the Commonwealth of Municipalities of the Western Costa del Sol, I welcome you to the website of this institution.
This grouping of municipalities works to ensure that common services are effective in the region. Through responsible management, consensus and participation, we have been achieving this for more than fifty years.
We are here to work for the citizens of the Costa del Sol, both residents and those who visit us temporarily.
