A back-and-forth route to bring something essential home
Water treatment is one of the most important services provided by the Western Costa del Sol Town Council Association. The distinguishing factor is making full use of this increasingly crucial resort.
Water treatment services are provided by the state-owned company ACOSOL, S. A., an agency in charge of the financing, operation and maintenance of works, facilities and services aimed at improving the quality of life in member towns.
First of all, there is purification. The Association makes every effort to use up to the last drop. After home use, water is purified for a longer lifecycle in irrigation and golf courses.

Treating home water makes it possible to supply 32 of the 50 golf facilities in the area with reclaimed water, in compliance with the Water Quality National Plan: Water Treatment and Purification approved in 2007 and against that idea that golf courses take up a large amount of natural resources.
